BOTTLE 33 CL. Dull murky yellow, white head. Smells like candied fruit, apple puree. Similar flavour - quite a bit of shredded fresh apples, sprinkled with a dash of brown sugar, fresh malts, light spicy lingering bitterness. Juicy chewy mouthfeel. Not bad, but feels a bit too sweet for the style and maybe oxidized too.

BOTTLE 33 CL. Clear dark grayish-amber, creamy white head. The nose is pure sticky caramel, not much else. Similar taste, somewhat cloying caramel sweetness, citrus jam, followed by moderate grassy piney bitterness. Really short on hops, but still... Decent.

BOTTLE 33 CL from Berero. Dark amber, beige head. Lots of sticky caramel in the nose, hints of canned fruit, hops are barely coming through. The taste is also malt forward, marginal hops, moderate woody and piney bitterness. Clean smooth mouthfeel, but it is just cloying, needs hops! And, yes, not Australian at all.
