BOTTLE from Berero. Deep gold, off-white head. Very clean malț sugars, hints of fruity lollipops, just a hint of cooked veggies. Strong pils malt character - richly bready with a nice dms touch, just barely some fruit and faint dark honey too. Clean crisp bitterness. A rare thing for a micro to brew a lager that crisp and clean.

Bottle from the Browarium Web Shop. Gold pour with a white head. Aromas of bitter lemon, pomegranate, vanilla, heather. Flavours of damson, more pomegranate, lemon juice. Very nice sweet/tart fruit balance. Very good.

330mL bottle at French Cafe, pours a cloudy dark bronze with a small off-white head. Aroma is dull on the hops, with bready malt, light caramel and faint earthy hops. Flavour is also lacking in hops, with bready malt, sweet cloying caramel and subdued earthy hops. I get a trace of diacetyl too which ends up ruining this. Not impressive.

BOTTLE 33 CL from Berero. Hazy pinkish-amber, pale pink head with so so retention. The aroma is orchard fruit with a little bit of tartness of fruit gone fermenting, dusty spicy peppery notes. A hint of white bread, but not much else from the malts. Similar taste - vague fruitiness,title sweetness, might be some pomegranate, might be not. It has that tannic abrasive mouthfeel that many fruit flavoured beers have, which makes it feel a little young and unrefined. Overall, an easy going, accessible beer, but not a huge success.

BOTTLE 33 CL from Berero. Cloudy dark brown, short-lived tan head. Smells of baking chocolate, with some fresh malts and cake, peppery spice in background. Medium sweet chocolate taste, a little bit of winy astringency, peppery bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel has a little bit of that velvety dark chocolate feel, but not as smooth as the better porters. Not bad.

BOTTLE 33 CL. Deep red-brown, small head. Classic sweet and spicy pumpkin, ginger and cinnamon aroma. Classic taste as well - medium sweet, medium acid, medium spicy finish. Well done and balanced.

BOTTLE 33 CL. Hazy amber-red, beige head. The aroma is caramel sweetness and some ripe dark fruit, just a hint of that fermentating fruit acidity. The taste rich rich caramel malts, malty with it being too sweet, pretty prickly carbonation and very lightly hopped. Very full body for a medium gravity lager. Drinks like a fuller bodied ale. Very nice.

BOTTLE 33 CL from Berero. Clear dull amber, creamy ever-lasting beige head. Nice flowery marmalade nose, rose hips, lokum, some green hops in the background. Similar taste - light orange marmalade and caramel, moderate green hoppy bitterness. Simple, decent.

BOTTLE 33 CL. Hazy golden, off-white head. Bready mealy malts, just a touch fruity, herbal hops with a medicinal note. Medium-dry bready malts with a subtle tart note, chewy mouthfeel with a nice lively yet soft carbonation, soft spicy bitterness. Apart from the medicinal notes, a very nice pils and quite authentic style-wise.
