Sample from 33 cl. bottle. Hazy, golden colour with a thin, white head. Fruity aroma with pale malts, herbal notes and yeasts. Taste is light bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes drying and slightly bitter with fruity notes. Okay Tripel.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy yellow with a lacing, white head. Fruity and slightly yeasty nose. Rich body, some fruity sweetness but enough bittering hops for some balance. 310115

Bottle Pours rather clear blonde, small white head . Lively carbonation . Smell is very weak . Bit grainy, with a sweet undertone . Taste is unexpected ! Very fresh , citrussy hoppy touch in the undertone. high, but very nice working carbonation ( would I dare to say perfect for this case ? ) , some mild sweetness , bit bitter . Grainy, natural . bit sharp in the beginning, to fade in a beautifull maltyness . Finish is grains, tad sweet ( not too much ) . This is nowhere near what I expected ( yet another tripel ) and its probably one of the best I had in this style ! Damn ;o

2/VIII/13 - 33cl bottle from Willems (Grobbendonk) @ my parents' place - bottled: 22/I/13 (2013-681)
Clear blond beer, lots of chunks floating around under a creamy solid white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: overripe fruits, some citrus, sweet malts, grains, hay, a bit off. MF: ok carbon, medium body, smooth texture. Taste: some citrus, sugar, some grains, fruity, plastic like bitterness and banana. Aftertaste: some banana, bit metallic, sugary, pretty sweet, soft hoppy ending. Correct beer, but is this what beer drinking Belgium is waiting for? Another boring tripel? Apparently...
