Aroma is moderate malty, hay, caramel, fruity, toffee, light sharp alcohol - alcohol (rum), moderate hoppy, grass. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, sharp, rum, toffee, caramel, sweet malt, wood notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery and sticky, carbonation is soft. [20141024]

Bottle. A dense, finger-thick off-white head forms over a clear, golden body. The aroma has a caramel rum-touch without the booze, some toffee and dried fruit notes, and a malty note. It’s quite sweet on the palate, but far from cloying, with a decent bitterness. Caramel, rum notes and some dried fruits. Long rum-like finish. Full body, pleasant and soft carbonation level. Quite nice this one, but lacking a bit on one-dimensional. 1401024

Crystal clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry. Mild fine carbonation. Light sweet malts. Little vanilla sweetness. Light dry finish brings a whisper of rum. Quite Innis & Gunn like.
