12 oz can purchased at Zipp’s in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Canned on 10/28/12 according to the sticker on the six pack holder (nice solution to the dating challenge). The pour is a lightly hazed golden orange with a smallish white head. The head leaves behind nice lacing. The aroma is bright and fresh grapefruit bitterness, resin and a gentle pine. Soft grassy malt underneath is present as well. The taste is a really nice balance between the grapefruit resin and pine bitterness and the cracker grass malt. A tiny hint of caramel sweetness comes out as the beer warms. The palate is light bodied, soft natural carbonation, and a great dry grass and bitter finish. Super easy drinking Pale Ale, crisp, clean and fresh. Right up my alley. Thanks to Tyler, and my Dad, for the assist on this one. Reminded me of Victory Headwaters, which I also love.

Pours a dark, dark brown with a fairly thick, lasting, creamy head. Aroma of coffee and roasted grain. Flavor is dominated by the roasted grain and coffee flavors up front, with some nice hop bitterness underneath. Nice smooth mouthfeel and finish. This is one of my favorite BIPAs and the one I most often compare others to.

Pours a slightly cloudy, golden yellow with big head that dissipates rather quickly. Big hop aroma. Flavor is very hoppy, with an almost soapy aftertaste. Grassy and citrus flavors as well. Very bitter finish to the beer. Nice--looking forward to what else these guys come up with.

Bottle @ Brad’s house. Thanks! Pours a golden orange appearance with an off white head. Kind of grassy, a bit herbal, light toasty malty aroma. Somewhat herbal, grassy, straw, a bit grainy, light lemon flavor. A bit old but doesn’t seem to have too much character, though not hard to drink.

On draught at the tap room. Disappointing, as most American style wheat beers are. Very little aroma at all. Flavor has some yeast and a little wheat, no significant hops and what flavor is there is very light.

Tap @ Indeed. Pours a clear golden appearance with a white head. Fairly fruity, light grapefruity, lemon, light vanilla, wheat aroma. Refreshing, zesty/spritzy, apricot, lemon fruity, easy drinking, well carbonated flavor. Not bad.
