On tap at the Vintage Estate, nice place and nice customer service! Please my purist peers, ignore the numbers on this rare one. Bread yeast floral dull hop aroma, comes across fresh on the olfactory. Big tan foamy head. Not cloudy, dark but no haze. Flat. Very bitter yet bready background. What else can be said but on style; rude crude long bitter finish that would make any IPA lover envious. Alky content did not seem to be 7%, covers it well.

Bottle from GBBF 2010. Hey it’s an English Pale Ale!!!! Well it has some earthiness on the aroma which could be English hops. They must have used a lot of EKG to get that much good earthy grapefruit into it. Lovely though, that is what EKG can be, but most brewers are too afraid to use that amount in the UK. Still it’s an American Pale Ale surely? Oh well. Given it blind that is what I would put it down as. Some good bitterness on the finish, I just love the hops though. Stunning symphony to Bramling Cross and EKG. And not harsh on the carbonation either.

12 oz bottle purchased at World Market as part of their beers of summer mixed pack. 3 and 0 are notched on the label. Pour is a hazed copper dark orange with a smallish off white head. Aroma is sweet, mildly tart raspberry juice, along with some basic biscuit maltiness. Clean enough, though a bit flat and subdued. Taste follows the nose with a basic sweetish tart blueberry and raspberry juice paired with a straightforward biscuit cracker malt based ale. As with the nose, clean enough just a bit dull and standard. Palate is a nicely unfiltered medium body with soft fine carbonation and a clean mineral finish. Overall, decent straightforward beer with a mild raspberry and blueberry taste.
