Poured a murky light orange from the bottle with very little white head. Smells of malt and wheat with very little hop to speak of. Slightly citrus, slightly malty flavor, but forgettable taste. Refreshing beer though, better than I expected but simple and light flavor.

Bottle, packaged Aug. 06. Don’t know about anyone else, but I find the smell upon pouring nicely compelling. Stoutish, chocolate-y and coffee-y with hints of maple underneath. Dark brown under a fizzy, short-lived head. First taste impression, though, is that it may have been carbonated too highly. But then those lovely aromas make way for a rather basic brew accented by a not overwhelming maple syrup spin. Maybe if I were having much more, it might turn me off, but this is a nice change for a session brew.

(Bottle 65 cl) Clear, reddish brown with a creamy, beige head. Sweetish malty and fairly alcoholic aroma. Quite a full body with sweetish malty and nutty accents. Rich and wholesome. Has a dry but not overly bitter finish. 210906

Dark red-orange body, medium cream head. Plummy sweet aroma with caramel, toast, and yeast- overly sweet with notes of soy. Flavor of grape and brown sugar, earthy esters, and toast, breads, and hints of soy. Little to no alcohol. Sweet, fruity finish. Strong but strange; too sweet and strangely shallow.

Bottle. Was probably not a good choice for a hot July day in Virginia. Roasted malty flavors, with a hint of caramel.

Pour is a cola brown with a brown head. Aroma is quite nice. Very sweet and creamy with some fresh hops and toasted malts coming through. Flavor is very sweet with hints of caramel and dark chocolate with some maple brown sugar flavor in there. Finish is very sweet and a little alcohol burn at the end. Very nice and different but you could only drink one of these in a sitting as the sweetness is there in a big way.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Slightly hazy amber golden with a small, off-white head. Aroma of caramel and aroma hops. Medium body, light accents of caramel and citrus. A vague grapefruitish bitterness in the finish. Quite nice and straightforward. 110606

It looks good enough; orange and some sediment. Lemongrass in the aroma with very light wheat. It does has some body to it. Flavor is lemon grass and this makes it very dry. Some sweet wheat, but overall fairly light. The lemon grass is interesting and works well enough.
