On tap at Tap That!, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has hearty oats and some toasted malt. Flavour is dry, with hearty oats, some bitterness, and toasted malt. Dry and somewhat lifeless. It's alright.

Can bought at Beer Republic. Hazy amber with a small head. Sour with quite a lot of cinnamon, also citrus, funk and some oak.

Can. Pop the lid and its foaming all over, darn and and clean up on isle 5 inconvenient. Clear pale eye. Taste is mild pils, on target for an old country style pilsner. Previously, I had a fest beer that slope made and it had something to be desired but this stuff is quite enjoyable, just curious if the two are from the same brewmaster. Pretty good co2 level and in the middle its quite refreshing. Before I knew it, the end was near and the finish was finished. Yea, a very good example of what a pilsner really should be; un-insulting without a big piercing bitter bite, civilized, friendly and easy to drink. Thanks US!

Can. Eye is a little darker than gold, just barely. Nose is perhaps faint bread and minor metallic veggy. First taste is a hair phenolic. Yes, a little odd and uncivilized compared to a real old country fest beer. Does have a decent level of co2, just can't get over that medium processed phenolic feel, it leaves a bad lingering taste on the finish. Not really bad overall, just a little below average for the style.

335 ml can from Beer Republic advent calendar. Clear, amber colour with a thin off-white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, pumpkin, nutmeg, and fruits. The taste is sweet. Medium body. Sweet, spiced finish. Well executed, clean, and pleasant.

Green can as pictured. Slight haze on a pale brew with a white foam head. Nose is surprisingly mild citrus pine. First big swig is quite sharp pilsner bitter, needs manners. Yes, the pils sharp bite is a largely over the top, almost like a rude wheat ale. This is a tick but its a difficult pils tick. In the middle it starts to become somewhat astringent and phenolic. Not well behaved. At least it has a good co2 level. Yea, I know this stuff is supposed to have noble german hops but they seem to be mutt mixed american to me. Just plain rude like many american attempts at a decent old country civilized style.

From a can absconded for $2 at total wine. Copper colored off pale and clear. Nose is that of a mild green pine cone, at least it doesn't smell like diesel or BO. For the taste, think about chewing on same green soft pine cone mixed with pine flavored hand soap, fresh rubber tree sap and turpentine. This is terribly on style IPA. If you like IPA, you better check out the bitterness of this one. What else can be said? It even says its really bitter on its label, (bold, deep, bitter). Go figger. Pretty rude straight up mouthcoating ass for a typical cheap pale lager lover. There, you have it. Whew, the best things about this is it was a tick and it has a slight mind numbing alky content. Otherwise BLAH.

In der Nase Zitrus, hopfig, harzig. Behäbige Perlung, Schaum passt. Im Trunk sehr angenehm cremig, Zitrus, vielleicht etwas Pinie, erst süß dann bitter, verhältnismäßig süffig, schmeckt.
