Meteorologically speaking, it’s a front range-covering, water-table-filling, snow-dumping weather pattern that anyone with bindings and a roof rack would die for. Beerologically speaking, it’s carbonated gold. In 2008, Matt Cutter, Henry Wood and Dany Page, kissed their homes in Cleveland, Atlanta and Argentina goodbye to bring their beer-brewing love affair to Boulder, Colorado. With that, Upslope Brewing Company was born. And after ten years of supplying Colorado with trailhead tallboys, and pow-day libations made from the freshest snowmelt, the finest hops and the purest passion for living life outdoors, one thing has become undeniable. These guys didn’t just float another microbrew into the sea of Colorado microbrews. They created a lineup of quality craft beer that tastes as good poured from a tap as they do pulled out of a fishing vest. In other words, for those who call the Continental Divide home, the perfect storm.

Tap at Fresh Craft, Denver. Poured a clear light amber with no head at all. The aroma is malt. The flavour is medium to weak bitter with a malty yeast watery palate. Not a classic.

19.2oz can, that was a wonderful trade bonus from adnielsen, pours with a crystal clear gold body that has a copper core and supports a white head. The aroma offers up malt sweetened rich grapefruit and tangelo citrus hops mixed with some resiny hop notes and a bit of yummy dank onion. The taste is full and rich and deliciously chewy with deep malt sweetened citrus hop extract goodness like grapefruit and sugar sweetened tangelo. It then moves into lighter notes of dank spicy even resiny onion like earthy hoppiness to midway. 10+%? It was very well hidden. Wonderful beer.

Pours clear straw golden with a small white head and some lacing. Aroma of malts, straw and honey. Flavors straw, honey and sweet berries
Too sweet to be refreshing in hot weather, which I think a good Lager should be. Not bad, just blah......

12oz can from stumpyiliz. Thanks aaron. Pours a cloudy dark gold with a half finger of wgite head. Aroma of wheat and corriandar with a little nutmeg and orange zest. Taste os light sweet. Wheat and corriandar with more citrus. Medium bodied with a somewhat sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, not bad. The alcohol is well hidden and this would be great outside drinking beer. Thanks!
