Sampled at the 8th annual Battle of the Barrel Aged Beers, listed at 11% and noted that the coffee is Zeke's Coffee. Leggy, cola brown, no head.  Nose took a second to come out, then it hit with cocoa and coffee and plenty of booze.  There is def some wheated Bourbon, some nougat.  Flavor has more coffee and cocoa, booze, caramel, toffee, burnt toast.  The base beer is still alive, if not a bit oxidized.  Whiskey barrel is there and it's quality.  Everything about this feels high end.  The one dig is a hotter boozy finish.  8 3 8 3 15

12 oz can from DC. Thanks Ashley! Pours a crystal clear light gold color with an off white head and decent retention. Very minor lacing. Standard bready aroma. Soft bread flavor to match the nose. No yeast notes. More crisp than your average golden ale. Medium body. Good flavor for only 4.0 ABV. Clean, smooth and repeatable. Not bitter. Well done.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a near clear yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has light citrus rind and grass with a bit of pine and grain backing. Flavor has a bit more pine with grass, light citrus rind and a bit of grain underlying.
