12oz bottle pours a clear amber with some snowy white head.  Nose has malt, raisin, caramel, some port, some booze, a little orange.  Flavor is sweet and smooth, caramel and toffee, orange, soap, pine, raisins, dates.  Finishes full bodied with some astringency that felt like bitterness that could have been booze.  Lacks some pop but very smooth drinker.  7 4 7 4 13

12oz can. Poured a clear dark copper color with a fluffy, medium sized off-white head. Aroma was big barleywine - wheat wine heat, caramel malts. Dried fruits. Flavor was dried fruits, hop bitterness. Mild hop resin. Super drinkable for a fresh barley wine.

Half pint at the brewery pours a clear gold, white head.  Nose has candy, honey, malt, candied orange peel.  Flavors follows, sweet with honey and candy, some lemon bitterness now.  Finishes mostly dry.  A golden ale... What do you want?  6 2 6 3 10

Blind spot beer for me. Can't believe I hadn't rated it. Pint at the brewery is a lightly hazy, bright yellow with some bright white head.  Nose has flowers, orange peel, clove.  Flavors of malt, honey, chewed bubble gum, banana.  Finishes dry.  True to style.  7 4 7 3 12

Half pint at the brewery, pours a translucent brown with some off white head. Nose has a lot of botanicals, witch hazel, wormwood, anise, clove, malt is hiding in the back. Thankfully, the malt and caramel lead on the tongue, herbs and botanicals are still there, anise, witch hazel, tea tree, a little clove. Dried fruits now too and some preserved lemon or limoncello. Full bodied and astringent. Unique...
