33cl bottle from Beer52. Medium white head. Hazy golden pour. Ok but not a beer style that excites me.

Bottle from Beer52. Clear and very pale gold with a white head and an aggressive, prickly fizz. Weetabix, lemon, sweet floral hay and coriander seed with a dry finish. Some banana bread in the aftertaste. True to style, definitely; sadly it's never been a style that I've liked very much.

Bottle from Beer52. Late night beer at the end of a hard week whilst binge watching the superb British sitcom Coupling. Black with a beige head and a middling fizz. Port and chocolate and wood and a hint of smoke. Rich full mouthfeel. Dryish, with a sticky, lightly roasted finish. Really good.

Crisp copper and bronze coloured body with a very thin, single centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of crisp grain, light toffee, some earth, a dose of nuts and a tiny bit of grapes. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive malted barley notes show at first with a relatively large earthy and rustic flavour that shows some nuts and toasted grain in addition to a very mellow grape-like sweetness at the end. Aftertaste shows some caramelised sugars, a dash of grain and flowers and ending with some more of the malt notes, which are quite strong. Overall, a relatively easy-drinking lager that does have a ton of flavour, especially the malty and earthy side of things, but some sweetness does shine through as does the yeast and bready flavours, especially at the end. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from the Department of Beer and Wine in Alexandria (Potomac Yard), Virginia on 05-June-2020 for US$2,87 sampled at my house on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, in Onancock, Virginia on 13-June-2020, one last time.

355ml bottle via Beer52; BB 13th Feb 2021. Drank at home on 9th Jun 2020 as I prepared a family BBQ. Golden amber body, sediment floating everywhere, short lived full white head, quickly turned to a thin covering and then a wisp and collar. Good piney nose and taste, decent malty base for an underlying sweetness. I like this sort of IPA, bored with the citrus cocktails, give me some proper bittering, piney hops every time!

12 fl oz (355ml) bottle via Beer52; BB 18th Feb 2021. Tanned foam on the black body of this decent Porter. Chocolate and coffee esters rule the nose, taste also chocolate and coffee to the fore, semi-sweet, semi-dry, semi-bitter.
