355ml bottle via Beer52; BB 13th Feb 2021. Drank at home on 9th Jun 2020 as I prepared a family BBQ. Golden amber body, sediment floating everywhere, short lived full white head, quickly turned to a thin covering and then a wisp and collar. Good piney nose and taste, decent malty base for an underlying sweetness. I like this sort of IPA, bored with the citrus cocktails, give me some proper bittering, piney hops every time!

12 fl oz (355ml) bottle via Beer52; BB 18th Feb 2021. Tanned foam on the black body of this decent Porter. Chocolate and coffee esters rule the nose, taste also chocolate and coffee to the fore, semi-sweet, semi-dry, semi-bitter.

[12oz bottle from Beer52.] A glossy black pour with a thick cream head; fruity aroma; soft and smooth in the mouth with chocolate malts, demerara sugar, raisins and a firm bitterness; then a smooth warming chocolatey finish. An enjoyable porter, one to sip slowly.

Huh, this one's bottled late last July - will rerate fresher at some point hopefully. Anyway, amber body, white head. Citric, slightly oxidised, even vaguely tart aroma - nooot good, but not the beer's fault. The taste is much more balanced - peachy notes, light citric, the hops are still there, at least partly, medium to low bitterness, soft body, only minimal oxidation, but definitely doesn't feel fresh. Okay, slightly raised scores than it deserves in this shape and form to balance out the fact it's old.

[12oz bottle from Beer52.] A bright amber pour with a thick cream head; vegetal aroma; strong malty body with lots of resinous pine wood. Certainly an American IPA, but rather one-dimensional.

[12oz bottle from Beer52.] A hazy pale amber pour with a vestigial white head; aroma and yeast and coriander; light and spritzy in the mouth with a subtly citrus taste, blended with tea, and with a trace of banana in the background; then a dry finish with a hint of pepper and orange zest. A nicely put together Witbier.
