(Keg at Juova, 20240719) The beer poured very dark brown and hazy. Its head was medium sized and nearly white. Aroma had wood, vinous notes, vanilla and burnt malts. Palate was full bodied, warming and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were wood, vanilla, vinous notes, burnt malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was woody and bitter. The barrel had taken over the beer. Clean but too much wood.

Bottle shared at the craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. A dark mahogany brown coloured pour with a halo of tan head. Aroma is semi sweet. Woody rad berry. Wood. Palate is semi sweet semi sweet, woody tannin, raspberry, vanilla.
