Currently brewing around 3000 hl a year and running a barrel program with almost 200 barrels. We enjoy brewing a wide range of beers, from barrel-aged big beers to refreshing sours and super hoppy IPA’s.

Draught @ Brewdog Helsinki, Sori tap takeover. Aroma is rather mild with ash and tobacco. Flavour has licorice, ash, tobacco and mild saltiness. Finishes with mellow herbal tones. There is even a slight feeling of contamination in the background. Palate is low on CO2. Becomes too salty at the end of the glass. Quite light and watery for this ABV.

Draught @ Brewdog Helsinki Pours yellowish orange with a small head. Aroma of juicy fruits, grassy hops, zesty citrus, lemon and grapefruit. Taste is smooth, slightly watery but juicy and fruity with some citrus, lemon and grapefruity notes. Finish is hoppy, bitter and juicy fruity with some grapefruit, grass and citrus. Pretty refreshing and quaffable, but a bit too easy going and mild.

(Keg at William K Kurvi, 20141111) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had fruitiness, roasted malts, coffee, sweetness and mämmi. Palate was rahter full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, roasted malts, mämmi, liquorice, fruitiness and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, malty, sweet and bitter. A suprisingly good hoppy and sweet dark ale.

Draught @ Olut Expo Finland 2014
Aroma is a bit odd, stale and messy with gooseberry bush and some roastiness. Flavour has gooseberry bush, roastiness, some licorice and flour. A bit messy and odd, not my thing.
Re-rate two days after, still not my thing. Perhaps it is the rye here that disturbs me.

Pours pitch black with a smooth head. Aroma of grainy malts, some roastiness, grassy hops, pine and wood. Taste is smooth, slightly grainy and roasty with some pine, grassy hops and woody notes. Finish is smooth, crisp and hoppy with some notes of rye, grass, licorice and pine. Pretty smooth and crisp. Some weird off-notes once it warms, though.

Tap@ Kaisla, Helsinki. Dark amber, thick white head, nice lacing. Tropical fruits, like tangerine, pineapples, herbal notes, some malt is found in the aroma. Flavor is not near as fruity, hoppy though. Malty, woody, some orange and grapefruity notes in the finish. Bit watery. Nice hop bite.
