Description
Sori Brewing is located in the capital of Estonia, Tallinn. Backed by crowdfunding investors, Sori Brewing is on a mission to make the world more fun with better craft beer. Started by two Finns who moved away from their home country to brew without compromises. Not far, but far enough to make it count. Together with an amazing team, these guys are dedicated to bring you joy in a form of craft beer.
Currently brewing around 3000 hl a year and running a barrel program with almost 200 barrels. We enjoy brewing a wide range of beers, from barrel-aged big beers to refreshing sours and super hoppy IPA’s.

Draught @ Black Door, Helsinki Pours dark orange with a smooth head. Aroma of grassy hops, pine, fruits, crisp caramely malts and resin. Taste is crisp, sweetish and juicy with resinous grassy hops, berries and fruits. Finish is sweetish, juicy and bitter with some caramely toffee and berries. A bit stuffy and quite heavy on the berry notes, but pretty tasty still.

Draught @ Black Door as "Sori Brewing Session I.P.A"
Aroma has sweet fruity tones, mandarin, some caramel and pineapples. Flavour has resiny tones, some minerals, grapefruit and hints of gooseberry bush. Also some caramel. Fruity tones grow stronger towards the end of the glass. Quite good and well bodied for this ABV.

Draught@Black Door, Helsinki. Hazy orangeish amber colour, with a small white head. Aroma is fruits, yeast, some alcohol and mild floral notes. Flavour is quite similar. Rather messy product, which seems to be rushed out on the market too quickly.

Tap at Tuulensuu. Hazy amber color, good beige(?) head. Aroma has pine needles and strawberry. Medium-bodied. Piney hoppyness, strawberries, bun. Feels a bit unclean and not hoppy enough. A pity ... my first Sori and it’s even from my local brewery.

Draught @ Black Door, Helsinki
Pours hazy orange with a thick white head. Aroma of fruity hops, sweet caramely malts, hints of berries and toffee. Taste is smooth, sweetish and malty with fruity hoppiness, caramel, toffee, citrus and grapefruit. Finish is lingering bitter, caramely malty and sweetish with exotic fruitness, grapefruit, citrus and toffee. Okay, slightly unbalanced DIPA with some unclean berry notes that don’t quite fit in. Still quite tasty, though.

(Keg at Black Door, 20140331) The beer poured orange and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, citricness, butter and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, grass, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste had fruitiness, butter, malts and bitterness. Not bad brew but the buttery aromas and flavours weren’t really pleasing.
