Draft. Hazy maroon color, off white head. Aroma is grapefruit on a background of very roasty coffee grounds. Taste is equally roasty with a bit of bitter lemon. Very tasty.

750ml bottle pours a hazy gold with a ring of white head. Nose has booze, lots of green bell pepper, cheap oak, wormwood, mild vinegar. More oak in the flavor, apricot, grass, lemon, a little marmalade. Medium bodied, acetic finish.

Strong aroma of nail polish esters, marzipan. Hazy amber, thin head. Marzipan, apple core, oak, with a light rum finish. Light body, fizzy and harsh. I’m not sure if there’s something with it, but I’m definitely sure I’m not a fan.

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run, opened 10/10/14. Pours a clear copper color with a medium sized frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of pumpkin, caramel, spice. The taste is pumpkin, spice, herbal hops, mild nuttiness. Thin-medium bodied. Decent.

12oz bottle pours a hazy orange with a ring of eggshell head. Nose has some spice... but it doesn’t bowl you over like other ’pumpkin’ beers do, sweet potato pie, orange, fairly intense honey comb notes. Flavor has heavy honey, heavy orange, some mild cinnamon, some mild cardamom, a little nutmeg. Fairly watery finish. Finishes with a bit of Cinnamon Toast Crunch on the palate, late. You know, it’s not as good as the mainstream pumpkin bombs, but the nuanced nature is appreciated.

12 oz bottle poured into a Spiegelau tulip. Nice clear amber color with just under a finger of off-white head. Aromas of graham cracker, pumpkin and pie filling, spices. Tastes of pumpkin, graham cracker, spices, a little caramel. Medium body with a dry finish. Smells a bit better than it tastes but pretty good!

12oz bottle, picked up from local Total Wine - Fairfax. I actually didn’t realize this would be a pumpkin beer, instead I was going to treat this as a beer to break up a day full of pumpkin beers. But I was pleasantly surprised. This poured a nice clear amber color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was pumpkin pie spices - lots of nutmeg, cinnamon, some touches of allspice. Gourd notes as well. Very crisp, enjoyable. Quite good. Going to see if I can get a six pack of this one.
