Draft at Beer Run as Session Experiment. Crystal clear golden color. Aroma of dusty tropical fruit. Taste is bitter orange, lemon, subtle licorice. Nice!

Draft at Beer Run. Dark amber brown color, small tan head. Aroma of vanilla, toffee. Taste is sweet and boozy toffee, dark fruit. Nice enough.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Lightly hazy gold beer, small bubbly white head. Light palate, semi dry, mild fine carbonation. Light orangey hops with some marmalade. Little floralness. Light dry finish. Tasty.

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run. Pours a clear amber color with a thin frothy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of grassy hops, grainy malts and a little bit of doughiness. The taste is grassy hops, apple, pale malt. Thin bodied. Meh.

Draft at Sedona, 8/14/14. Pours a dark brown with a thin frothy brown head. Fair head retention. Aroma of whisky, roasted malts, wood, chocolate, faint tart fruits. The taste is dark fruit, wood, whiskey, roasted malt, cherries. Medium bodied, slightly hot and not very sour.

Draft at Billy Jack’s, Harrisonburg. Pours a hazy golden with a thin frothy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of strong rye and earth, and WOAH CIGARETTES! Oh wait, that’s the guy that just sat down next to me (nice guy it turns out). Taste is citrus hops, rye, pale malt. Medium bodied. Solid beer.

12oz bottle pours a totally clear, dark gold with some ringing, clumpy white head. Nose has some odd minty notes, soap, some dried lemon peel, some mild biscuit, a little bit of trashy, some roasted corn. Flavor has some buttered biscuit, some lemon, mild malt, a little raw parsnip, metallic notes, some minty notes remain. Crisp finish.

750ml capped bottle pours a hazy caramel brown with some creamy, ringing white head. Nose has some candy sugar, yeasty esters, bubblegum, booze, caramel, turbinado sugar, lightly vegetal. Flavor is sweet, malty, candy, bubblegum, mild clove, mild booze, hints of spice, a little vanilla, quite a bit of caramel. Finishes a bit oily.
