Firefest 2013, Forest VA, Draft: No aroma. Clear amber, thic k head. Malty, honey, and peanut.. Very lagerish, little ale characterbut tasty.

Draft at the brewery. Pours a slightly hazy red-amber color with a thin frothy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of toffee, earthy, citrus and herbal hops and some caramel. The taste is bitter citrus, resin, pine hops, strong toffee notes and mild burnt sugar notes. Medium bodied, slight lingering bitterness, decent balance.

Draft at the brewery. Pours a hazy rust color with a thin frothy tan head. Fair head retention. Aroma of cinnamon, clove, other spices, pumpkin, mild toasted malts. The taste is tart pumpkin, mild squash, spicy finish. Medium bodied, low carbonation, lingering spice.

Draft at the brewery. Pours a clear vibrant amber color with a thin white head. Fair head retention. Aroma of big clove notes, earth, pale malt, apples. The taste is pale malt, citrus, stone fruits, grapes, strong spice. Medium bodied, low carbonation, slight heat.

Draft at the brewery. Pours a clear dark brown color with a thin head. Fair head retention. Aroma of banana bread, toffee, mild stone fruits. The taste is toffee, banana bread, herbal hops, mild spiciness. Medium bodied, strong carbonation. A bit on the sweet side. Nice beer.

Cask at the brewery. Pours a very dark brown color with a large frothy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of strong vanilla notes, chocolate, cocoa, mild roasted malts. The taste is strong vanilla, chocolate and a mild roasty finish. Much like chocolate cookies! Medium bodied, low carbonation.

Draft at Sedona Charlottesville. Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of bready malts, caramel, spicy floral notes and an herbal finish. The taste is tropical fruits, herbal notes, pale bready malts, tart fruit finish. Medium bodied, low carbonation. Nice.

On draft it is a dark amber color with a tan head it has the aroma of caramel and it tastes thin and watery. The coffee flavor resonates on the palate

On draft at Rustico in Alexandria, VA. Pours a clear dark brownish amber with an off white head. Fruity malt nose. Flavors of toffee. Light bodied. Short finish.
