Draft at Rustico Alexandria. Poured a dark copper color with a small off-white head. Aroma was caramel notes, sweetness, a touch of bread there. Flavor was very sweet, but not sickly sweet (thank God). Malt notes are a bit more subdued than your typical Scottish ale. Light and pretty sessionable.

Draft at Rustico Alexandria. Poured a dark brown, almost black color with a nice tan head. Aroma was sweet coffee notes, some very light roasted character. Taste has a lot of roast character, some light coffee notes. Touch of sour character to it perhaps - at least that’s the impression we got at the table from it. Didn’t realize it was only 3.8% until just now. Very impressed with this one.
