Small skinny can. Pour is totally unexpected, no foam and it looks like heavy cream milky colored coffee, no lie! Smell is chocolate milk? First taste? Look, this stuff is not beer and I don't know what it is but to be rate-able as a beer is WTF happy bullshit. Oh, the taste, it makes me almost want to dump it. Almost sends a gag reflex. But then there is the weird attractiveness, keep sipping, not too much. It taste like heavy cream with shades of black coffee, too. Weird alky laced milky bomb, no this is not beer, gettittouttahhere. Cannot finish, weird, yucky kucky. I'd put this stuff in the basement with those stupid ass chelada bud lights, heheheh. Yea, get a yahoo add a bit of strong coffee and them put a shopt of grain in it, there you have it. Not a stout by any measure of the continuum.

16 ounce can into lager glass, best before 11/11/2019. Pours crystal clear medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice thick foamy lacing clings down the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of cracker, corn, white bread dough, and biscuit; with lighter notes of honey, toast, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. A bit of fruity corn/yeasty aromas, but not overwhelming. Nice aromas with good balance of pale malt/grains, and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with good strength. Taste of big cracker, corn, white bread dough, and biscuit; with lighter notes of honey, toast, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, corn, white bread dough, biscuit, honey, toast, wood, peppercorn, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great robustness and balance of pale malt/grains, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Very clean on lager flavors, with mild fruity/yeasty notes. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and fairly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 6.5%. Overall this is a delicious imperial American lager. All around nice robustness and balance of pale malt/grains, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/clean/refreshing to drink for the ABV, with the mildly bitter/drying finish; great soft feel. Great clean/rich pils malt/grain showcase, with solid noble hop presence/balance for the style. Not overdone on adjuncts. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive style example.

Pour is medium gold bright wheat nose. Smooth wheat and hops taste. Hops palate. One of my daddy's favorites

Can from Corti Bros. Pours clear, bright gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is primarily bready, but there seems to be a Sazz hop note - grass/spice. Approaching medium body. Flavor is strongly bready, and the hop is rather light. Over all I get the impression of a 10% tall boy - but the nastiness is nowhere near that level. But these flavors are not great.

Sampled from a can. Poured like coffee with cream. No head, no lacing. The aroma was strong chocolate, malted milk and coffee. The flavor was strong chocolate milk, coffee and vanilla. Medium length finish. Full bodied and creamy.

Sampled from a can this beer poured a bright golden color with a large soapy yellow-white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was tangy, citric and perfumey. The flavor was tangy and sweet with artificial grape. Medium length finish. Medium body.

16 oz. can. Pours a crystal clear pale straw gold color with a small white head and poor retention. No lacing. Grainy aroma. Tastes like old school beer. Semi-sweet grainy lager. Crisp mouthfeel. A little watery. Fairly clean. Decent enough.

PBR used to be a mainstay, I have not had one in quite a while until now. On tap at a loud bar in Chicago, it is the standard medium yellow of this style in general. It tastes of barley and corn and water. Better than some, a beer to watch baseball with.

16 ounce can from Woodman’s Appleton, 5/29/19. Been looking for a single of this forever. Clear gold, large fizzy white head, good retention. Aroma of grain and pale malt. Taste is grain, lemon.
