Can from Buckeyeboy, thanks. A nice break during the Stout Tasting, this poured a golden orange color with a creamy tan head. Mild aroma is sweet cereal grains and citrus. Tastes of fruity hop bitters and modest malty sweetness. Very approachable, which must be the brewer’s intent.

On tap rather dark caramel color with a creamy beige head. Toasted malt flavors and a little sweet fruity hop character. PBR’s rich cousin stopped by to say hi.

From tap. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty, light caramelish. Sweet, toasted and caramelish. Light breadsh and toasted finish.

Can from PreFunk. Not sure if I’d put this down as an APA. Texture and body recalls a cream ale, along with very little hoppiness. Medium copper body, tight white head, creamy texture, all with some tasty grainy flavor. Overall, very lagerish, so if you think you’re going for an APA, you’ll be disappointed.

16 ounce can into pint glass, best before 6/15/2016. Pours slightly hazy deep orange/copper color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, caramel, brown sugar, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/earthy hops and moderate dark/bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, caramel, brown sugar, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine/herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, lemon/orange peel, pepper, pine, caramel, brown sugar, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness that lightly increases through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/bready/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice American pale ale, that leans a bit more towards an amber or ESB in flavors. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

It pours a clear copper colour with an impressive head of foam.
It smells of light grain, sweet to a degree, and has a lemon citrus aroma.
Taste is remarkably balanced. The malt bill is light on the grain and imparts some sweet notes. The hops inject a zingy lemon citrus flavour that I quite fancy.
The substantial body and gentle carbonation make for a very smooth mouthfeel.
Best by June on the bottom of the can, I say best in my belly welly. This is very tasty and a joy to drink. 16oz can pours a clear, copper with no head. Nose has rotten fruit, some orange, some spice, cheap malt. Flavor is bland, cheap bread, trashy. Finishes mercifully bland.

Can from Bert’s Pours a brilliantly clear light copper color with a decent sized bubbly off white head that persists. Caramel and toffee maltiness on the nose with some citrus earth and light spice. Flavor follows the aroma but adds a hint of mineral water. Mild bitterness with a sharp carbonic bite. Not bad for a somewhat mainstream beer.
