Description
In 1996 Pabst, once one of the largest breweries in the United States closed down its production in Milwaukee after 152 years. Since then Pabst’s legacy brands like Pabst Blue Ribbon (PBR), Old Milwaukee, Lone Star, Rainier, Stroh’s, Old Style and Schlitz are brewed under contract by third parties. For nearly two decades, MillerCoors brews and distributes all of Pabst's beers under an agreement. In 2019, it has entered with City Brewing Company into a 20-year contract production agreement until 2040. Pabst will gradually transfer from 2021 until 2024 its production from MillerCoors to City Brewing.

Went boating with a friend and this is what he offered me. Really it wasn’t too bad! Much better than a coors light. Some light hops and the typical macro malts. It’s a macro lager but really wasn’t undrinkable like most.

another can of swill! Wow, been drinking alot of crap lately, and this one is definitely no exception! Aroma is rotten corn, and vegetables, and dirty feet? Flavour is again, rotten corn, and vegetables, with a touch is sickly sweet corn in there. wow, this is really bottom of the barrel beer. yuck.

Tap at Wolf, Birmingham. Clear gold, small white top. Aroma has a sweet grain and floral hop note. Taste of grains, corn, slightly syrupy, reasonably grassy, crisp and not watery. A bit more hoppy than your average American mass lager but sadly it only improves the flavour slightly with this one.

Can 0,355ltr: Clear golden colored brew with an slightly bitter taste, very well balanced beer or in other words not to exciting. I expected worse of this "America’s best from 1893".

The hand there is Dean W. making sure I don’t get to drink more than the sip he graciously gave me.
