Bottle shared at a tasting. Thanks for the bottle jinroh! Deep black with a small tan head that lingers. Roasted malt, roasted coffee, roasted oats all over the nose. Good roasted flavors on the palate with some tobacco as well. Bone dry finish. Really nice beer for the abv.

33cl bottle shared by Arve_Christian - thanks a lot! Pours slightly hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma of canned peaches with hints of citrus, pale malt, grass and bitter herbs. Medium sweet with fruity and herbal flavours and a fairly harsh bitterness. Fizzy and to harsh for my taste. --- Beer merged from original tick of Jernteppet Pale Ale on 17 Oct 2015 at 21:13 - Score: 6

Big dark brown head. Opaque black body goes hazy brown at edges. Roasty oaty aroma with mealy coffee notes. Dryish roasty mealy toasted oat taste with chalky notes. Mid-bodied. Fizzy mouthfeel. Dry roasty mealy cocoa aftertaste with oaty fruity notes. Nice, drinkable, quite subtle. (0.33l bottle, from wine monopoly, Strømmen.)

330 ml bottle. Black body with a nice, tan head. Nice aroma of dark, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and hint of liquorice. Flavor is nice and well balanced as well. Dark, roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, biscuit and pleasant bitterness. Fine, smooth body and long lasting aftertaste. A really well made stout at a reasonable alcohol level, smooth!

Big offwhite lasting head. Clear coppery body with strong carbonation. Fruity spicy gooseberry aroma with dusty orangey notes. Dry spicy orangey taste with mealy fruity notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, fizzy mouthfeel. Dry spicy cinnamon and oranges aftertaste with mealy notes. It’s OK, but the flavours don’t quite gel for me. (0.33l bottle, I don’t know where from.)

Bottled@Man in the Moon, Stockholm. Black colour, small white head. Aroma is toffee, marzipan, liquorice, some sweet malts, a bit vanilla and some figs. Flavour is very similar in a nice balance. Nice sweetish coffee-liquorice-vanilla aftertaste.

330 ml bottle. Clear pale golden body with a big, lacing white head and lively carbonation. Really nice aroma for a lager, floral, grass and malt. Flavor is fine and refreshing with clean malt, some fruit, floral, hint of fruit and pleasant bitterness. Medium body and nice in aftertaste. Really fine both in aroma and flavor for a pilsner, and still true to the style. This is what a real pilsner could taste like.
