33cl bottle from Slijterij Saendyck in Zaandijk, Netherlands. Head is medium, off-white, quick gone. Colour is coppery to brown, hazy. Aroma is malty, caramel, bready, bit dried fruits, leaves. Taste is medium to full malty base, caramel, bready, leaves, bit like brown ale, decent bitterness, not really for the style yet not bad beer, enjoyed.

0.33 l bottle from 't Biermenneke, best before May 2022. Slightly hazy, golden with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly grassy-spicy aroma of grains, some honey and a touch of straw. Gently sweet, slightly malty, a bit grassy-spicy taste of grains, some honey and traces of straw, followed by a short, just slightly bitter, minimally grassy-spicy finish. Almost medium-bodied, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Well-brewed classic Helles, very true to the style, really pleasant.
