Hazy amber with a thick head. The aroma is massive and weedy. Mmmmmm hop cone. Medium bitterness, kind of creamy and with a good hop character.

Bottle thanks to Marco. Pours muddy brown with off white/light beige head. Nose/taste of baked pecans, toasted biscuit malt, caramel, toast, light toffee and hints of citrus. Body on the lighter side for a barleywine. Lots of sweet pecan nuts in the finish. Medium body.

Draft: : Poured a clear white golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet grain. Taste is soft notes of grain and fruit. Very refreshing and reminds me of a good brew after a hard day’s work in the yard.

Nutty and strong caramel flavors make a nice well rounded barleywine, but it was maybe just a touch too sweet.

Draft @ Redlight Redlight: Poured a hazy copper with a white head. Aroma is hops and sweet malt. Taste is smooth with hops, but has a bit of bitterness to it that keeps it edgy. Finish is soft on the palate.

Aroma of sour green apples and tropical fruit, maybe bananas and unripe mangoes. Flavor is soft bruised fruit, flowers and peppery spice. Very nice carbonation, fluffy pillowy bubbles, soft palate. I’m doing a disappearing act on this bottle. Cloudy pale yellow-gold color with a foaming thick 3 finger head.

Golden with a mild honey nose, bready malts, mild bitter finish. Dry. Not a good match with bleu cheese
