Cheers Mat for bringing a 75cl bottle to the Jan 2016 Shrewsbury Beer Exchange Group meeting. Dull orange pour, hazy body, off-white head. Yeasty and off-fruits in the nose and taste, weird fruity flavours weave in and out: herbal and different. A strange one really and difficult to score, not your usual IPA that’s for sure.

75cl bottle @ Shrewsbury Beer Share, Jan 16, courtesy of me. Thanks to Rouhlas for the trade. Pours a hazy orange with foamy head. Vibrant soapy lime and piss aroma. Interesting thorny floral hop profile with orange pith and bitter herbal notes. It’s flavoursome, but not sure it’s my bag.

Bottle at a craft beer testing session. pours hazy amber with off-white head. Notes of spices, clove, grapes, some smokiness detected. Carbonation is a bit too much for my taste. Roasty malts, herbal notes, maybe pine.

Bottle at a craft beer testing session. pours light yellow with white diminishing head. Thin bodied, notes of bananas, floral, herbs, some sweetness on the tongue. Refreshing with interesting spices here and there.

Bottle at craft beer testing session. Pours clear golden with diminishing off-white head. Thin bodied, thin aromas of herbs, maybe some hint of grapes. Poor palette, nothing special.

330ml bottle, thanks to Rouhlas, Pours murky brown with short-lived off-white head. Aroma is murky caramel and sweet malts. Taste is nutty, grainy, malty, some caramel and dried fruits. Not quite ’hip hoppy’ as the label says, but not unpleasant. Just a bit bland and lacking character.
