(Can) Pours opaque brownish red with short-lived pale pink head. Pleasant aroma of raspberries with notes of lemon, vanilla and perfume. Medium body with bright carbonation. Very fruity with raspberries and citrus, moderately tart, with notes of candy and vanilla. Very drinkable.

From a 355ml can on 14/7/2023. Pours a hazy pinky red with a small head. Has a light raspberry nose. Tastes of raspberry with hints of vanilla, with a modest tart finish. Very light creamy mouthfeel and prickly carbonation. Not very sweet, pastry or smoothie like in presentation. Not awful but not in the least bit notable. Pastry sours are a style that no Oz brewery seems to be able to really nail.

2023 version is 6.0% ABV. Can. Dark brown with a light tan head that's soon a scant coat. 3- Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, some earthiness that may be the mushrooms. A taste suggests yes - there's a nice savoury richness before a lightly spiced bitterness. Moody, pretty good.

Can. Almost clear amber with a fat coat of white head. Interesting fruity and woody aroma with peach, feijoa, pine sap and needles. Lacks malt presence and body. Tropical fruit - perhaps a bit grilled - with varied resinous notes before a moody, moderately bitter finish.

(Can, 0.44l, thanks Arde, at VastActiv, 20230518) The beer poured deep golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had orange juice and floralness. Palate was medium bodied and very dry with low carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, orange juice, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was acrid and bitter. Unpleasant. A modern radler.
