A beer that doesn't quite come together for me. Light aromas of chocolate, coffee and cherries. Strong citrus taste in the mouth as well, but there's a sweetness to the taste that is throwing me off. A fruity, sweet Black IPA is a little bit Frankenstein.

Taster from the Beechworth brewery. Aromas of mango, grapefruit and a little pepper. The taste has a nice bite to it. Very solid IPA.

Aromas of chocolate and a hint of chocolate, plus a tiny bit of citrus. The mouthfeel is a little anemic, and the coffee comes through more strongly. Not loving it.

Light grapefruit aroma with a little biscuit and caramel. Quite a sharp citrus taste, plus a nice malt backbone.

Nice tropical aroma of pineapple plus citrus. Light citrus taste with a little pepper. Smashable on a hot day, which today is not. Taster from the Beechworth brewery.

A really nice surprise. It's got a spicy nose (pepper and coriander), plus some light citrus. There's a strong malt body for such a light beer, with notes of grain, caramel, grapefruit and boiled lollies.

Nice notes of passionfruit and grapefruit. Nicely made, bit lacking in bite.

Can. Amber, a bit off clear, with a near cm of white head. Moody aroma of tenor register citrus, pine, sticky breadcrust. Full bodied and rich with enough resinous and peppery bitterness at the end to keep if from seeing all that sweet. Citrus partly oozes but some floats at the top. Really suits as the weather turns a bit colder here.

Can. Murky apricot with a fat coat of white head. Sharpish citrus, berries, under-ripe tropical fruit, crackers. But the taste is mellower than expected with some twiggy notes as well as fruit before a finish that's more dry than bitter. Interesting.

Can. Dark brown with a beige head that lasts OK. 3+ Spicy mocha aroma. Slightly earthy with some under-ripe tropical notes. 8- Fruitier upon a swig with nectarines and tropical touches which complement the mocha bun malt. Bitterness builds after a while. Another harmonious one.
