Bottle from The Beerhive. Hazy amber body with an off-white head. Lively carbonation. Nice lacing. Aroma of pineapple, treacle and black cherry. Flavour of toffee, orange marmalade, earthy hops, nuts and honey. Medium body an oily mouthfeel. Soft fizz. An unusual beer - I think this would be even better on cask. It would be wildly off-brand but it would be fun to try a Luckie Ales turbo-hopped US-style IPA.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - looks like a setting sun. With a light lace covering. Nose - very light red fruits, but maybe apricots is closer. Taste - bitter orange, not expected from a lager. Light spice. Palate - medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Grippy tannins.Very persistent! Overall - a Munich Red Bock. Very interesting.
