Bottle. Hazy orange-amber colour. Aroma dried fruits, caramel, considerable English-style hops character. Taste is caramelly, light warm alcohol, dried fruits. Finishes earthy, grassy, hoppy. Good one, maybe a bit too hoppy for me.

Bottle thanks to jeevan. Appearance - cloudy golden orange with a nice lacy head. Nose - vegetal, light spice. Taste - more like a pils, green crisp and dry. Palate - light to medium bodied with a lean crisp texture and a long dry crisp finish. Overall - didn’t smell like a pils but taste is good.

500ml bottle from the beerhive. Glad I read the warning on the bottle about the high carbonation. Even so, pouring into a wet glass got a ton of foam that took ages to calm down, whilst more started creeping out of the bottle. I tried knocking some of the fizz out by giving it a stir, but that just lead to me losing more! What I managed to drink was a nice, clear red brown, thick off-white head. Lots of spice on the nose, cooked apples. Toffee, spice and more apples on the taste. Spicy lingering finish, with a good cleansing bitterness.
