Cask at The Hanging Bat. Pours clear copper, thick off-white head. Aromas of toffee, marzipan, stone fruit. Taste is more of the same, quite a heavy sweetness, more marzipan. Touch on the sweet side for me, but nice.

Bottle at home. It pours lightly hazy golden with a small white head. The nose is earthy, grainy, spice, dough and cake. The taste is crisp, bitter, spicy, grain, grass, pepper, citrus peel, hay and resin with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Tastes pretty alright actually. Interesting spicy golden.
