Description
Producing beer using left over bread rather than fresh barley.

We work in partnership with exceptional breweries, using their brewery but under our own license and using our own ingredients and recipes, and brewed by our in-house brewer, Stuart.

Moved to own brewery in Milton Keynes, dur8ng 2024.

In the UK, our beers are brewed at SEB in Broadstairs.

We've previously worked with Hepworth Brewery in Sussex, Wold Top Brewery and Hambleton Ales in Yorkshire, and with Hackney Brewery in London. Each time we've moved, it's been to allow us to scale up production.

Bottle at home, from my wife, 11th March 18. Pours filtered clear and light orange. Aroma is malty, biscuit, citrus. Taste is bitter and light citrus, quite malty. Drinks like a EPA or light Bitter. OK, but forgettable.

Bottle at home. A big, bad and hairy chested English style pale ale that was drunk alongside and perfectly complemented a spicy pizza. A dark colour in the glass and a big malt and bitter hops flavour that was very well balanced. It easily held its own against the food and slipped down a treat.

Bottle. Clear golden with a short-lived white head. Some lacing. Aroma of grains, cereals, bread and a faint hint of citrus fruits. Taste follows aroma plus something just mildly unpleasant I can't properly describe. Low bitterness, low carbonation. Very easy to drink. It's alright I guess but nothing to keep one's eyes open for.
