On cask. Appearance - deep amber to brown with red chinks. Decent beige head. Nose - definitely cherry with an edge of plum. Brown bread backdrop. Taste - cherry for sure, cherry stone and brown bread. Palate - medi bodied, roasty finish. Overall - like it but probably wouldn't want another.

[Cask at the Claude du Vall (JDW), Camberley.] A deep ruby red pour with a tight tan coloured cap; rich cherry’s aroma; velvety in the mouth with sweet cherries to start, then becoming quite bitter, giving a sour cherry finish. Very good.

(Bottle) Pours very dark brown with small light tan head. Aroma of stewed plums. Medium body with plenty of soft carbonation. Bitter dark roast grain, stewed plums. Pleasant but a bit odd
