A hazy dark orange beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is light, but quite sweet with lots of caramel and nuts. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, hints of nuts, and a bitter end with hints of wood.

[Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen] A hazy amber beer with a fine white head. The aroma is very flowery and hoppy. The flavor is cask flat, slightly sweet, and quite hoppy and grassy with some oil notes too, before an OK bitter, bisquity dry end sets in. Unfortunately the mouthfeel is thin.

Black with huge, stable beige head. Chocolate aroma. Erathy, malty nose, but becomes more thin towards the finish, which has notes of coffee and licorice and is rather salty.

Sample cask conditioned. Flowery nose. Grapefruit aroma. Light- to medium bodied. Soapy hoppiness, sparkling mouthfeel. Dry, salty bitter finish. A nice drinkable cask bitter with an American touch.
The bottled version appears less flavourful, and lacks the freshness and sparkling mouthfeel of the cask version. This rating is for the cask version.
