Cask at Sun Inn, Stafford. Pours golden amber with a small foamy off-white head, low carbonation and good lacing. There’s a quite fruity aroma, mainly oranges. In the mouth it is sweet and juicy with floral hops, malts and toffee immediately evident. Later some summer fruits come through as well. Finish is grainy and slightly dry. I don’r normally go for cask lagers, but this is quite nice.

Cask. Hazy golden colour with a small white fluffy head. Aroma is zest, some ginger and mild coriander to it. Flavour is similar, but also has some malty body to it. Quite mouthdrying, but still a pleasant sipper, which makes you want more.

Cask @ Head of Steam, Birmingham with Craig, John and Rich. Clear amber pour with off-white foam atop. Herbal fruity malty nose. Character relies on soft fruity sweet malt with a dry herbal side, good hop bitterness. Tasty bitter, simple stuff.
