Cask at the Flour and Flagon, Manchester. Hazy amber pour with a white head. Lots of raspberry jam and strawberry chewits in the nose. Flavours of raspberry jam, slightly artificial feel, strawberry flavoured sweets. So-so.

Cask at the Black Horse, Preston. Pours clear ruby brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of fruitcake, plum pudding and light spice. Taste is light sweet, very fruity, almost jammy. Light spice note cleans things up a bit on the finish. Lovely winter warmer.

Cask-conditioned at the Prince of Wales, Chippenham 7/12/2018. Deep brown with undertones of red and a frothy, off-white, head. A rich beer, with some leafy hops, ripe plum fruit, a touch of brown sugar, ripe malts and a boozy finish. An enjoyable beer.
