Handpull cask at the Fountain, Walsall as Titanic Classic Mild. Dark brown and slightly translucent. Liquorice, caramel malts, slate in the aroma. Simple sweet taste with a bit of an herbal note mid-sip and a chalky bitter finish. Fuller body than most milds. Really decent stuff.

24th Aug 2018; cask half-pint, hand-pulled in the Albrighton Platform Alehouse. Clear golden amber body, white crown. Light floral notes with a mild fruity ester or two. The taste is hop bitter initially, then slowly the malts come out to play alongside some fruit flavours. Easy drinking session ale.

Dark, reddish-brown beer, thin head. Malty fruit aroma. Flavour is drier than I expected. Dry, bitter, musty with the fruit just taking the edge off it a bit, Some almost grassy hop too. Not bad but not one I'd go out of my way to return to.
