(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a hazy, almost black with an orange hue and a small, creamy, beige head. Sweetish aroma of roasted malt and chocolate. Medium body, sweetish roasted malts and a hint of vanilla. Soft mouthfeel with a light malt bitterness in the finish. Nice one. 190908

(On tap) Clear, warm, dark amber with an off-white head. Very clean aroma of roasted malt. Quite full-bodied with a solid base of roasted malts, a little pumpernickel and a dry lightly bitter finish. Classical Dunkler Bock albeit a bit mainstream. 190908

Bottle. It poured a slightly hazy golden-orange body under a beige head. Slightly sourish in the aroma, but mostly grainy and fruity. The flavor luckily lacked the sourness, still had the grains and fruityness, as well as some bitterness. Medium body and a short finish. Sure, it’s a drinkable beer, but I see no need to repeat it. Bottled. An amber beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of butter and caramel, and so does the flavor, leading to a dry finish.
