Small white coarse-laced head over dark orange hazy body. Sweet, earthy aroma with caramel notes. Acidic, buttery taste with notes of water and burnt paper. Didn’t enjoy this much.

(Bottled) Colour golden yellow to orange, very hazy. Big, but quickly disappearing head. Fruity, yeasty nose with citrus (tangerine) and spices (ginger, coriander, clove). Taste starts fruity with more citrus (orange, tangerine) and spices. Becomes drier and finish reminds a bit of a dry cider. The alcohol gives it some body which feels necessary. Agree with Ungstrup, feels more like a wit than a german hefeweizen (or something in between). Nevertheless, interesting and nice, but lacking something extra.

First ratingInitial Rating Date: 2/14/2006Bottle, from the government shop Systembolaget. Widely available.Hazy dark golden color, didn’t try it very cold so the haziness is most likely due to the beer being unfiltered and un-pasteurized.Big white head that stayed a little while, but not long.Mix of malty and sour/acid scent.Quite sour taste, different from the "normal" Swedish beers. Very low bitterness and virutally no aftertaste. Although, come to think of it, the sourness does linger for a while. Not something I will buy often, but for a Swedish beer it’s interesting.7/3/6/3/11=3.0Rerate33 cl bottle from Systembolaget in Örnsköldsvik. Sampled on August 24, 2013.BB 16.04.2014.Hazy to cloudy golden color, fairly big off-white head. Malty, grainy, bready, fruity, hoppy scent and taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterenss. A bit fruity aftertaste.7/3/7/3/13=3.3

A deep red beer with a lazing light brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of over ripe fruits and hints of wood. The flavor is sweet again with over ripe fruits, combined with notes of prunes, and a slight acidity. Nice.

Bottle. Pale golden with small, white head. Malty aroma with fruity elements. Taste is mostly malts, and hops to the end. Rating: 4-3-4-3-9-2.3 (051006)

Bottle. Pours a clear, golden body with a white head. Too weak on the nose, with pale malt and grains dominating, but there’s also some hoppy fruityness. Malty, slightly sweet flavor with a pleasant fruity and bitter hop profile. Nice bitterness in the finish. Medium body. A quite quaffable beer, but a bit ordinary. (080216)

Golden colour, with a white head that disappears quickly. Smell of grass and light smell of hops. Has a malty taste and bitterness from the czech hops. Has a dry and bitter aftertaste.

(Bottle 50 cl) Never before have I had a beer that smelled of....stewed strawberries. But believe me, that’s the case here. So if you never grasped the concept of fruity esters in an ale, then try this one, and you’ll understand.
Neat amber colour with a huge head, that never vanishes completely. Unfiltered and hence hazy. Fresh and....fruity with notes of vanilla in the aroma. Rather unique flavour - if not exactly of stewed strawberries - soft, malty with a discreet, dry bitterness. lovely. 151201

2005 bottle from Juha. Smells like some hops, just a bit of grass and some plastic, not terribly aromatic, but pretty clean. Looks really pale, white and with a bubbly head. Light bubbles rise and a pale-gold, white color. Flavor, though, is great, hoppy and crisp with plenty of lager yeast crispness. Good body, not anything heavy, but medium and not watery. A bit of metal and a some crisp hay. Moderate carbonation and a good honey backbone, but just needs more yeast dumped in.

500 ml bottle. Golden colour, slightly hazy. Decent white head. Lager-like aroma with notes of flowers, hay and honey. Flavour is sourish and thin with some citussy notes. Short sourish aftertaste with metallic notes. Disappointing.
