Bottle. Color: Clear golden, very thin, fast disappearing white head. Aroma: Some tartness, funky, fruity notes of berries and grapes. Taste: Funky notes, fruity white berries, white grape, hints of citrus, notes of oak wood, malty and bit grainy body, hints of caramel. No carbonation. Light to moderate tart. Very light bitterness. Medium body. Lambic-like. Nice to have the possibility to try this base beer of all HenkeBier beers.

Bottle. Color: Deep purplish red, purple head. Wow! Great color. Aroma: Rural funk, very fruity blackberry. Taste: A lot of blackberry, very fruity. Quite dense and smooth mouthfeel. Moderate tart, light sweetness. Subtle rural and lightly leathery funk. Dry finish. Some oak wood. Great taste too! Another wonderful blend from Mark Henke.

Bottle. Color: Clear pinkish red, thin light pink head. Aroma: Stable-like funk, red wine, cherries. Taste: Stable and horseblanket funk, red wine / grapes, subtle sour cherries, oak wood notes. Hints of minerals. More vinuous than cherries, fortunately. Light to moderate tartness. Medium body, under average carbonation. Another very nice one from my now home-town brewery Henkebier. Love the funky part of it. Great job, Mark!

Bottle. Thanks to Mark Henke we've had a wonderful evening enjoying great beers, including this one before official release. Just bottled. Great red plum color. Taste is a lot of plum but also quite a lot of strawberry. Still a bit sweetish (bottling sugar), light sourness. Will likely be more tart after ageing in the bottle. Below average carbonation. Another nice one, Mark! Keep going!

Cloudy dull golden color. Funky barnyard, leather, hay, elderflower brett oak in the nose that is modestly tart. This is the epitome of funky Belgian sour . Tart peaches, barnyard, bandaid, elderflower. Tart as hell with nice funky fruity finish with oak.

Deep blood red colour with quick fading head. Aroma has intense raspberries, fresh but also raspberry jellies. Flavour is similarly intense. Sherbet. Red fruits. Enough dry woodiness to keep it all balanced.

Bottle, directly from 2023 HenkeBier sale. Color: Hazy golden, fast disappearing white head. Aroma: A lot of fruity apricot, funky. Taste: Sweet and tart fruity apricot. Furthermore apricot. And did I already mention the apricot...? Besides that also quite funky, notes of wood and apricot pits, tannins. A bit vinuous too. Dry-ish mouthfeel. Quite dense just over medium mouthfeel. Below average carbonation. Smooth wheat malt backbone. Moderate to over moderate tart and sweet at the same time. Long lasting finish, fruity apricot of course... Great!
