Bottle. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Huge particles. Amber colour. ight malty and hoppy and yeasty aroma. Light bitter flavor. Strong candis notes. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Re-rate April 12th 2012. 33cl bottle @ home. Re-rate 11-04-2012: Clear medium to dark amber color, small to medium sized beige to light brown head. Smell malts, a hint of caramel, overripe fruits and raisin. Taste malts, carmale, raisin, overripe fruits, some sweetness and a hint of bitter in the finish. Pretty high carbonation, medium to full body. [Original rating (2009): 8-4-8-3-15]

Don’t really see why this beer is rated so low on this website. I thought it was quite nice. Decent, quite heavy, taste and smell. Great mouthfeel, with not too much co2 bubbles and a nice, lasting full body.

I really like this beer. Nice brown colour with some redness shining through. Smells pretty nice: sweet, caramel, raisins.. But not too much like in some other ’dubbel’ beers. Tastes very balanced sweet but fresh at the same time. Good mouthfeel with not too much co2, full body.

Colour is quite much what i like. Taste is very sour and artificial. I don’t think they used real cherries. Chemical was my only not, so it bothered me obviously.

Taste is pretty good. It’s quite a decent witbeer. This beer is better if you just drink it, instead of breaking it down to rate it.

Bottle 300ml.Clear medium to dark red brown color with a large to huge, frothy and speaking, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, caramel, prune, moderate yeasty, sharp. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet, light acidic and light to modrate bitter with a average to long duration, fruity - licorice acidic, prune, tart notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20110411]
