Bottle at Arends Nest. Hazy amber beer, good off white head. Nice creamy vanilla nose. Softish dry palate. A little mildy sweet vanilla malt. Not really getting any specific honey, just an overall sweeteness. Soft and dry finish. Decent enough if somewhat over dry.

Dark orange to amber coloured beer, little cloudy. White head dissipates immediately after pouring. Aroma: caramel, ripe fruits, spices, roasted malts, hops. MF: lots of carbon, light to medium body. Taste: hops and citrus fruits, a little sweet malts. Aftertaste: citrus, not too much hops. Simple yet more complex then I would have imagined. This brewery has surprised me for the second time (first time was with the Zondebok).

Bottle at Arendsnest in Amsterdam, November 2010. Slightly hazy dark orange with sediments. Small white head. Aroma of malt and spices. Did not feel much vanilla or honey in the taste. Drinkable but did not taste that much.

bottle from Bierkoning - thanks! Deep brown colour, offf-white head. Full-bodied, malty with hints of plums and caramel.

Pours a clear yellow to orange beer, big orange chunks floating around in the glass. White creamy head (they lost one point for the clearness, and one for the chunks). Aroma has hops, malt, straw and lots of icky yeast. Lots of carbonisation in the glass. MF is ok, thin body. Taste holds sugar, some hop bitter and citrus fruits, but all very faint. Aftertaste has some hop bitter and a little acidic, but is practically immediately gone. Really bad stuff...

75cl. Pours a darkbrown almost black beer. Beige fine creamy head. Smells like caramel and liquorice. Taste of roasted malts and some caramel. Nothing more. Warm mouthfeeling, which is good for the style of beer. Bittersweet aftertaste that is gone quite fast. The beer doesn't last long.

Label claims 3.5% ABV. Different lable from picture above Mixed pink-whitish head like vanilla & strawberry softice. Well-carbonated veiled deep-red beer. Childrens’ cherrysweets. Artificial, citric acid smell. More childrens’ sweets in the flavour, with a particularily artificial citric acid/ cherry flavouring. Very spritzy, certain slickness backthroat. I believe "Huyge" anytime. Probably even not original.

30 cL bottle, courtesy of fonefan. Pours hazy dark orange with yeast sediments, shor lived and white head. Aroma is mild fruity, light acidic, phenolic and yeasty. Mild fruity, vague metallic and yeasty flavoured. Light caramelish note. Bitter and slight acidic flavoured into the finish. Lasting fruity phenolic note.
