Sugary stuff, has a vague herbal note. Heavy on the palate. Some ripe dark fruits. Novel.

Bottleshare at CBJ. Thanks to Cloin for the can. Semi opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate, mild fine carbonation. Candy dark malts, candy dark chocolate and lots of candy fruits, especially berry fruits. Airy smooth finish. Sweet. Amusing and drinkable but feckin sweet.

Can at CBJ Tasting. Aroma does not taste like the egg, but sweet fruity sourness. Flavourwise it has wafers and chocolate with a berry edge. Thick. Oily. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish.

21/5/2026. KeyKeg at The 2026 Cambridge Beer Festival. Taster. Bit too early for a third. They have this under Vault City at this festival. Deliciously luxurious. Chocolate, jammy, sweetness. Really good. Need to come back to this later.

Pours clear blonde, no real head. Scent is full, oxidative wine (vin jaune) like, which is very pleasant, but unexpected. Taste is full, sharp, tart, oxidative. nice !
