Almost clear deep amber beer, small pale tan head. Strong earthy coffee nose. Palate is light and fairly dry, reasonable superfine carbonation. Thin malts. Tangy fruity earthy coffee. Some tangy citrus, almost sherbetty. Light dry finish. Interesting and drinkable.

0,5 flaske (bb. 031217) fra Ninkasira på RBHD-samling, Bjørnøy jan-18: lett uklar gylden med højt skum som varer. Frisk og fruktig ipa-aroma med tropiske frukter, furunål, grapefrukt og ananas. Smaken er også svært frisk og lettdrikkelig med solid kropp og deilig, litt kvass bitterhet i avslutningen.

Shared bottle at RB/HD at Bjørnøy 26.01.18. Slighty hazy golden. Foamy and persistent white head and lacing. Aroma and taste of sorrel, lemon, lime, lemon grass and pilsner malt. Slightly earthy.

Shared 500 ml bottle. Golden colour, white head. Nice aroma of citrussy and piney hops, hints of tropical fruits too. Fairly dry flavour, resinous and rather sharp bitterness.

Bottle 500ml. @ home. [ As Doctor Brew Double IPA ].Unclear medium amber orange colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, sweet malt, caramel, oxidide malt, moderate hoppy, old hops, old fruit, rich malt, light earthy. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, caramel, rich malt, old fruit, old hops, hop bitter, earthy - woody hops. Tap at Neked Csak Dezső, Budapest. Poured a slightly hazy medium amber with a big frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light toffee, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light crisp. dry metallic hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Nothing special.

Tap at Neked Csak Dezső, Budapest. Poured a slightly hazy medium amber with a long-lasting frothy white head. The aroma is light toffee malt, big woody alcohol bitter aromatic hop. The flavour is moderate to strong bitter with a big malt, resin, woody hop bitter palate and a bubbly mouthfeel with a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Way too bitter for me I’m afraid.
