Hazy burnt orange, lacey white head. Big bitter pithy hop throughout. Pine and pith. Flavor has some crystal malt then huge spruce. Bitter finish but messy. Way over done. 5 3 4 2 7

Nearly pitch black creamy off white head. Leafy hops on nose, burnt toast, big malt. Flavor is huge bitter hops and grass with a lot of roasty bitterness too. Bracing bitterness and full bodied but dry. Over done. 6 4 6 3 11

Pint. Murky yellow big white head. Nose has new world hop, muddled tropicals, lime, grasses. Flavor has clear citrus and grass and straw and wheat and passionfruit. Dry and bitter. Decent. 7 4 7 4 13

Cask at Great British Beer Festival 2023, Olympia, London. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate, dark fruit, bitter taste and aroma. This was a pretty damn harsh imperial stout but quite well made and quite boozy too.

On tap at GBBF 2023. Black beer no head. Big imperial stout some marmite some dryness. Some dark malt. Decent enough if a little harsh. Thanks to Jackie

Cask at GBBF 2023 - Day 1. Pours clear black-brown with a creamy tan head. Medium sweet flavour with ashy roast, earth, burnt toffee, charred meat. Full bodied and lightly oily with fine carbonation. Seeet and warming finish, ashy bitterness, charred malts, baking cocoa. Solid.

Cask at GBBF 2023 - Day 1. Pours clear ruby-brown with a small, creamy tan head. Medium sweet flavour, some butterscotch, toffee, berries. Medium bodied, lightly oily, with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, little earthy bitterness.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Opaque dark brown beer, decent tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, good fine carbonation. Nice rich dark malts, a little tangy dark chocolate. Trace of smoke. Nice savoury vibe. Ripe fruits on the semi dry finish. Rich and drinkalble.
