Pretty good pilsner. Pours a light color with nice white head that quickly diminishes. Aroma is grassy, floral and slightly hoppy. Sweetish flavor with pretty substantial hopping. Nice and refreshing for summer.

Pours straw color with white head that laces nicely as it dissipates. Aroma is decidedly grassy with slight foreshadow of the sour bite that comes through in the taste. Taste is pretty light. Odd sour vibe comes through, but it compliments the overall light feel well. Refreshing for summer!

Grassy aroma with slight hops. Lacing follows cream head on top of amber body. Taste is a bit odd in that the up front taste is strong of malt and rather pleasant. Then some sort of acrid bitterness (not a pleasant hops bitter) comes through for just a second or two before it turns pleasant again with a nice hops flavor. Not bad, not perfect.

Pour is a cloudy red with no head. Aroma is deffinatly berry. I can smell it on the table in front of me w/o bringing it to my nose. Flavor is where it lacks punch. It does have a berry taste but it is very watery and thin. I did not like the schlafly hefe and adding raspberry does not make it any better.

Excellent brew. Pours so dark with a nice creamy head. Aroma is coffee-heavy with slight burnt smell that lingers. Coffee taste is dominant, with slight alcoholic warmth and darkly toasted malt in the background. This is one of the best put together coffee stouts I have tried.

A very nice offering from Schlafly’s. Pours a nice honey color with a pretty decent head. Aroma is singular, hops and grapefruit? Taste is a nice mix of hops and grain that blends really nicely together. Crisp.

Pours a nice color... dark brown with a slight reddish tone, but looks to be a little thinner that I would hope for. Head is a nice light lace. Aroma is sweet with a slight fruit scent. Taste is alright, but like a lot of Schlafly’s year round offerings it doesn’t go as far as it could. There is a pleasant sweetness that intermixes with woody caramel and some fruit... but it just doesn’t finish as strongly as I would like. Not a bad scotch ale, but not a great one either. Maybe it is better on tap... I’ll have to try it at the brewery.

Pour is a deep black with almost no head. Aroma is a very strong coffee. Oh boy here goes the taste. OH wow that is very strong. It more like a espresso stout. Coffee flavor is overpowering. Grainy and sandy as it goes down. Tasty in a way but drink in small batches.

Hazy blonde colour with a thin white head. Aroma of small amounts of curacao, wheat, corainder seed and a small sweetness. Light-bodied; Some pale malt tastes-not good at all. Aftertaste shows pale malt and isn’t pleasant in the slightest. Overaell, not a beer worth spending the money on, try their ESB if available, but not this one! I sampled this 12 ounce bottle at the November RB party at Founders in Alexandria, Virginia on 20-November-2004.

Thanks to Hopscotch for bringing this back from Missouri! Light lemon yellow color with a tall white head. Not much hefe haze, somewhat clear. Sour yeast aroma is not quite right. Very little flavor or body, this is disappointing. Far from a good Hefeweizen. Go find a Weihenstephan instead.
