Pour is an almost water clear with just a little hint for gold. Aroma is some generic malt but it does have a bitter hop. Flavor is clean but everything is very minor. Some very light bread malt has a bitter finish. About as close to a Bud Lite as you can get.

Smell of spices, pumpkin, and vanilla. The flavor is malty but not overly sweet. Vanilla is there though not strong. Nutmeg and cinnamon. Pretty good..

Too much fake vanilla.

Can. Beautiful hazy light gold hefe pour with a big overflowing creamy head, impressive display. Aroma is very light hints of lean fresh ale, no detection of hefe olfactories. First taste is quite exciting, mild cutting bubbly stuff with all the fun attributes that a hefe should have, just like the real stuff from the old country. I'm diggen this shit! Banana, barely detectable clove, well balanced. Quite refine straight thru to the middle. Towards the finish, there is a hint of non distracting bitterness, but I think it may be my imagination runnen away with me! Hey, the can is almost gone! Wow haven't had a decent real civilized bavarian tasting hefe in a long time and this is domestic! Anyway, Good job schlafly! Right up there with some of the better hefes I've tasted: Erdinger Weißbier, Missing Link Dinoweizen, Švyturys Baltas and Obolon Weizenbier (Оболонь Пшеничне)!

12 oz can from Beerbox. Pours hazy orange with a one finger off-white head with good retention. Aroma is raspberries and grain. Taste is crisp, clean, and bland with just a hint of raspberries—weird since the aroma was very berry forward. Watery but fully carbonated. Absolutely no German character at all, so why call it Hefeweizen? More like the lame Widmer “hefeweizen” with a hint of raspberry.

Pretty meh, what with the fizzy pour and the neutral aroma and slightly-better-than-macro malt/hop profile. Drinkable but unremarkable.

At lunch at O’Connell’s with my Mom (80) and daughter (11). This pub was a go to lunch spot for me in law school in the mid-90s, and have been going with my Dad and Uncle since de the 80s. Was so fun to be back there after a long time. Maybe not the greatest beer, but what great memories and there was nothing else from the craft selection that I could order when I saw this!! Another great time at O’Connell’s!!

Pour is atypical hazy IPA with a large white head. Aroma is a slight fruity hop is all. Flavor is a slight fruity hop but a big bland chalky malt takes over. Finish is a little bitter but this was very underwhelming.
