Originally rated June 2010. Purchased on my trip to Nashville. Big light pink coloured head that is frothy, has good retention and lots of webbing lace. Slightly hazy peach-pink colour. Man ! This is a cooler !! No sign of malts or hop. Just alcoholized berry juice. Sweet berry nose, sweet berry taste. Thank God they say they added some honey to this. Not what I expected from this brewery.

Originally rated June 2010. Thanks to David (Lilihel’s bother) for this one... and enjoyed in Nashville. Pours a copper colour with a beige head with wavy lacing. Lightly carbonated with tiny bubbles. Dark roasted malt scent with a bit of nut. Watery mouthfeel. Soft taste of roasted malt and nutty with a touch of coffee. More of a refreshing easy-drinking bock than a real bock, but still a pretty good average one.

Bottle from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours very dark amber with a transient fizzy beige head. Aroma of heavily roasted malt with something like leaves/herbs. Med body. Flavor is roast malt, with something like herbal bitter. More sweet than not. Not bad.

Consumed at the Manager’s Reception bar at the Embassy Suites Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. Man, this is horrible. This is hands down the 2nd worst beer I’ve ever had, taste like dish soap. I couldn’t get past the 3rd sip and had to return it. Only worse beer is the fire brewed Sprechers.

12oz bottle. Filtered orange-tan, thin steady head. It is what it is, a straightforward Lager. Relatively balanced, with the toasty malts and mild nobles hops complementing each other well. Not exactly up to par with World Class Bavarian examples, but certainly leagues above your typical macro Lager. Just a hint of graininess, slightly dirty. Otherwise a pretty solid session beer.

Bottle. Black colour with a tan head. Aroma is peat, whiskey, coffee, smoked malt. Flavour is peat, whiskey, alcohol, coffee, smoked malt, hop, chocolate. Full body. Simple rough nice beer.

Pours clear deep brown into a Sam glass. Tan micro head with excellent retention recedes to coat surface. Nutty caramel and toast aromas. Dry with upfront pit fruit turning to nuts in the middle and a slightly sour lasting chocolate finish.

Pretty awesome imperial stout. Pours a very dark, oily black with little head. Complex combination of coffee, chocolate, some fruit, etc. Perhaps just a bit too much on the sweet side for me in the finish, but this was well worth the effort it took to track down.

Bottle. Pours black with brown head. Nose and taste of smoked chocolate malts, vanilla, licorice, coffee and light raisin. The malts have a strong smoked character to them. Complex, though body is slightly thin. Very quaffable imperial.
