Description
In May 1867, the Leinenkugel family brewery was founded in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin by Jacob Leinenkugel. He was a family man driven by an iron work ethic, and he knew that his German family heritage would play an integral part of his brewery’s success. Today, the sixth generation of Leinenkugels continues to brew some of the same family-inspired recipes that Jacob poured his heart and soul into. Over the years, our family has grown and so has our brewery, but our history and heritage remain at the forefront.

Canned June 8th, 2020, drunk 11/13/22, thanks TJ! Clear, pale-blonde. White head to ring. Cheaper smelling fruit, probably concentrates. Sugary malt behind is light. Watery-thin with light pineapple and little strawberry on the finish. Almost no malt. Stale-ish with club soda-like flavors.

Canned June 1, 2020, drunk 11/12/22. TJ coming through HUGE on the Leiny Spritzen mixed pack! Clear rose-blonde. White head to ring. Nose is nice, authentic grapefruit zest. Not much else but what's there is clean. In the mouth it's more seltzer than beer. Kind of stale-ish malt flavor with light grapefruit. Lingering grapefruit, soda water and a touch of white sugar-like malt character.

12 oz can (if I'm remembering correctly). Pours a hazed pale yellow with a white head. Lemon aroma of course. Flavor is lemonade with some lime, some pale malt, and an herbal/pine flavor from the hops. Not much of a beer, the lemonade definitely dominates, but I really don't hate it.

12 oz from the variety pack. Aroma is peachy, honey. Pours mostly clear golden with a one finger off white head that falls into a ring quickly. Taste is tart and lightly sweet, finishing dry. A lil peppery. Not bad at all.

12 oz from the variety pack. Aroma is lemony (more Lemonheads than real), floral. Pours a hazy rusty yellow hue with a one finger off white head that falls into a ring somewhat quickly. Taste has a light bitterness with lemony, floral flavors. Mouthfeel is thin and watery. Not bad, but bland and obviously mass produced.

Pours a cloudy yellow-gold color with a thick white head and good retention. Decent lacing. Light lemon aroma with very little hops aroma. The taste is lemon-forward with some citrus hops in the finish. Mild bitterness. The lemon and the hops offset each other so it's not too sweet or too bitter. Light body. Crisp mouthfeel. I'm not a hop head, so I kinda like it. Session IPA.

12 ounce can from Woodman’s Appleton, 3/12/22. Clear, well, peach. Large pillowy white head, good retention. Aroma of tart peach, peach pits. Comes across as real. Taste is tart peach, pale malt. Juicy, so the name fits. Overall, a pretty well made fruit beer.

Can from JR's. Brown clear beer with a nice head. Smell is a little off and farmy. Does have the big real chocolate flavor but I think its more like milk chocolate rather than dark chocolate. Its sort of like dull milk chocolate if you want a better description. Like nestle quick minus the sugar. Not bad, and better tasting than most chocolate beers I had. Even has an aftertaste that is reminiscent of chocolate. Quite flat on the palate and rather smooth. Finish is nothing but what? Chocolate? You got it. My wife is a chocolate lover but didn't really care for the taste of this one. I found it to be quite acceptable.
